Data Controller

RB3L (Patrick Rabel — patrick.rabel@gmail.com) is the data controller responsible for your personal data processed through this service, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data We Collect

We collect: your email address (account creation & license delivery); your name if provided at purchase; a machine identifier supplied by your device (license seat management); your IP address in security audit logs (retained 12 months then auto-deleted); payment metadata processed exclusively by Stripe — we never store card numbers.

Legal Basis (Art. 6 GDPR)

Processing is based on: contract performance (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for license delivery and account management; legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for security audit logs and fraud prevention.

Sub-processors

We use Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com) as our payment processor. Stripe processes your email and payment data under their own privacy policy and a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA). No other third party has access to your personal data. We never sell your data.

Retention Periods

License records: duration of license + 5 years (legal accounting obligation). Customer account: until you delete it. Security audit logs: 12 months (auto-deleted). Session cookies: 30 days. Payment records: retained by Stripe per their policy.

Your Rights (Art. 15-22 GDPR)

You have the right to: access your data (Export my data below); correct inaccurate data; erase your data (Delete my account below); data portability (Export my data); object to processing. To exercise these rights use your account settings or email privacy@rb3l.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (e.g. CNIL in France).

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session authentication cookie (30-day expiry) and a language preference cookie (1-year expiry). These cookies are essential to the service and do not require your consent under ePrivacy Directive rules.
